Gauging My Student & The Gas

I teach behind-the-wheel driver training in a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL. Paying attention to my student and traffic while writing a student driver assessment, I am glad that my car has a low-fuel warning that chimes at 50 miles to empty, and every 10 miles from that point. Only once has it gotten down to 0. My standard comment when the low fuel warning goes off: Instructor steers, student pushes!
