2001 Tahoe LT 4wd
Low fuel light came on , i went to fill it almost immediately. Could only put 20.5 gallons in it. That means i still had 5.5 gallons in it when the light comes on. 26 gallon tank supposedly.

This model had many cases where the wrong fuel tank was installed at the factory. It was not a recall item though. The tanks that was installed on some was 35 gal. with a slush damper wing. This tank uses air pressure to increase the volume of fuel by making it denser and therefore closer to the IQ of the owner.
