For my 2003 RSX Type S, I wouldn't recommend pushing it above 40. So I'd say the average on here is pretty accurate. My story is that my RSX started to sputter just before pulling up to the pump once and this was approximately 45 miles after the low fuel indicator had came on. I'm using the term "sputter" generously because it was far worse than just a simple sputter. It was an almost 1-2 minute sporadic "sputter" that was bad enough that it made me think that the engine stopped twice for few split seconds while this was going on. Point is that I'm fairly positive that I reached the limit and almost ran it out. The main reason that I think it was nearly dry is because it never sputters... but ALSO because another light came on while the sputtering was going on. I looked up this other light and it was the problem indicator light for fuel/emissions. Light went off after I fueled up. So all this leads me to believe that it was a very close call. My advice is don't push it over 40 miles past the low fuel indicator. I will say that I have (carelessly/stupidly) squeezed about 55-60 miles out of it a couple times when I was in a major rush to get somewhere... BUT I just wouldn't recommend. Some more general info: The main things that seem to kill my MPG are city driving or dirty air filter... so just keep that in mind if you do ever happen to try and push it towards or above 50 miles past the low fuel indicator.

Another bit of info to add for my story... Not sure on details or why I'm bothering to mention or if this even matters with mpg at all... but I have cat-back exhaust and equal length headers installed by the dealer. Sorry though, I don't know much about stuff like this so I can't give any more detailed specs on these aspects.
