This is for a 1990 CRX and a 1987 Honda Civic
When I was younger, I had two old used cars, the Honda CRX and a Honda Civic. Becuase the low fuel light was broken on both of these vehicles I really had no idea how much gas I actually had left once the guage went passed the 'E' mark. I can tell you that what happened on both cars was that the engine just simply shuts itself off as well as everything else on the car (lights, powersteering, power brakes, windows, etc.) You just have to try and coast as far as you can to the nearest gas station or wherever you can park the car. All of a sudden you are driving fine, then the engine goes kaput! kaput! KAPUT!, then the car just dies and you better pray momentum gets you to your destination and you're not on an incline.

In the US the crx does not have power steering or power windows.
