03 Vs 2011, Got Less Power
I had a 03 Corolla then traded it in on a 2011, both are auto trans. , both have cold air intake and the new car gets same gas miles but has a very noticeable power loss. Toyota must have done something with the computer or torque ratio. I want my old car back. I wish I could add a turbo. Can you change the chip or something???

I just went from a '98 corolla w/314000 miles to a '05 corolla w/118000. I wish I had fixed up my old one, compared to this o5. I did a 1000 mile trip to Fl. I got slightly less mpgs than my old one, the ride was stiffer and not a comfortable trip. I have gotten at least 50-60 miles after gas light comes on.

I had an '06 Corolla S and traded it in for a '12 Corolla S. The '12 is a bigger car, (150 lbs) with only 6 more HP. Getting that additional 150 lbs moving is a lot for 132 hp. the mileage of the two is comparable, but the '06 is better in my case. Also, at 80 mph, the '12 is at 3500 rpm, the '06 was at 3000 rpm. The '12 is a bigger car with more bells and whistles and is hard to distinguish any size difference over a base Camry. I saw the pictures of the '14 and it is pretty cool, but I would like to see the Corolla with 180hp. The 2ZR-FE is a nice motor, but it isn't enough any longer.

The windshield on my Toyota Yaris just crkaecd yesterday too. I've been calling around for quotes today and I'm getting anywhere between $ 320 and $ 390. I would imagine the Corolla would be in the same ballpark.
